Khabia is a community-driven non profit initiative dedicated to collecting, refining, and publishing all types of data, so long as it relates to Tunisia in any way.
As a Tunisian and a data enthusiast, it pains me to see that the data available about our country is both limited and undiversified. Our primary sources—the National Statistics Institute and the World Bank—provide only broad, generalized figures. When it comes to more specialized data, individuals are left to compile their own information. This is precisely why Khabia was created: to consolidate and centralize all data about Tunisia from every field, no matter how niche it may seem.
Some of the data we have comes from different sources, like web scraping or being collected by people in the community. We also want to gather data from official Tunisian sources, like ministries or official bureaus. The stronger our community is, the more varied and accurate our data will
Khabia is based on the internet, but with a focus on Tunisia. We welcome everyone who wants to help.
